Prince Alansan Sesay, Founder and CEO of Boys & Girls Club of Sierra Leone: Prince Alansan Sesay is a dedicated and passionate individual with a strong sense of empathy and determination to work with disadvantaged and underprivileged communities. His love for social work is evident in his tireless efforts to make a positive impact on humanity. Raised in poverty-stricken communities in Sierra Leone, Prince has firsthand experience of deprivation and hardship, which has fueled his commitment to helping those in need. His background inspired him to establish the African Volunteer of Sierra Leone (A.V.S.) after serving as Secretary General of the Sierra Leone Volunteers Association (SALVAS). Prince has represented Sierra Leone at international work camps in the UK and international conferences in the US. He has also led various projects aimed at improving the lives of marginalized groups. Some of the projects undertaken by his organization include vegetable gardening for the Milton Margai School for the Blind, construction of a school building in Mabontor, and providing free medical services in Kamabai. Currently pursuing a dual master's degree in social work and criminal justice at Loma Linda University, I interned as a medical social worker at the Loma Linda University Medical Center Kidney and Liver Transplant Institute. Prince holds a bachelor of arts in social work from California State University Los Angeles and an associate degree in behavioral science from San Bernardino Valley College. His expertise in anger management and impulse control is a result of his patience and deep understanding of human behavior. Prince's dedication to serving others and his commitment to social work make him a valuable asset to the Boys & Girls Club of Sierra Leone.

With a wealth of experience in designing, planning, and implementing programs, Martha has spent many years guiding, teaching, and collaborating with diverse community groups. Specializing in providing frontline social work and in-home support to high-risk children with their families, Martha adopts an Ecological Approach that considers the child within the context of the family, school, and community. She utilizes the Resiliency Theory to explore the relationship between protective factors and risk factors such as violence and addiction, delivering essential services with a holistic perspective. Martha's areas of expertise encompass: - Community Development - Families and Children Welfare - Adult Literacy - Library Science - Administrative Management - Leadership Enhancement - Early Childhood Development Education has been a cornerstone of Martha's professional journey, including her pursuit of a PhD in Human and Social Services from Walden University, Maryland, USA, a Master's in Human Services from Walden University, Maryland, and a Bachelor of Social Work from Thompson Rivers University, British Columbia, Canada. Born and raised in Freetown, Mohamed began his leadership journey as a senior prefect and award-winning student, setting the foundation for a career marked by excellence and impact. An accomplished academic, Mohamed holds a BSc in Physics with an Engineering option from Fourah Bay College and is pursuing a BSc in Computer Studies at AI Professional College. His passion for technology has led to certifications in 3D Printing Technology, Drone Technology, Data Science, and Housing Automation. With expertise spanning IoT, web development, networking, and artistic pursuits, Mohamed embodies versatility and innovation. As a leader, he serves as Program Director and Head of ICT for the Boys and Girls Club of Sierra Leone (BGCSL), contributing significantly to its establishment and growth. In 2024, Mohamed represented BGCSL at the Africa Leadership Institute Conference in Rwanda, organized by World Youth Clubs. There, he gained valuable insights from top leaders and young innovators across Africa, further enhancing his capacity to drive impactful programs. Currently, Mohamed is the General Manager for Bash Luxury Apartments and Bash Automation SL Limited, where he pioneers smart technology solutions for modern housing, including the installation and configuration of IoT devices like Google, Alexa, and Zigbee. Samuel Alexander Wisdom Bryant is a dedicated and results-driven Student with a strong background in Political Science. Currently awaiting graduation with a Bachelor of Arts with honors from the University of Sierra Leone, Fourah Bay College, Wisdom has developed expertise in project development, implementation, and supervision, as well as public policy and administration. With expertise in project development, implementation and supervision, public policy and administration, Wisdom is a team player with blend of technical proficiency and willingness to learn and has a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions and driving organizational success. Bryant is also known for cultivating a good human relationship, possesses excellent communication and writing skills, and performs effectively even within a highly pressurized working environment. Wisdom, having emerged as the best public speaker at the Inter Department Public Speaking, Debate, and Essay Writing Competition, is the Public Relations Officer at the Girls and Young Women Advocacy Network, under the She Leads Project with Defence for Children. Bryant is also the Youth Recruitment Officer of the Boys and Girls Club of Sierra Leone a youth organization that provides a safe and positive environment for children and teenagers to participate in various activities and programs after regular school hours. These programs focus on academic success, healthy lifestyles, character development, and leadership skills. Solomon Sellu Jr. is a qualified Monitoring Evaluation Officer with over 6 years’ experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) from reputable humanitarian organizations in Sierra Leone. He has been instrumental in delivery quality approach in decision making. He has good experience in Research, data Quality/management, and also enjoy the challenge of a busy and demanding work environment. He has experience working in rural and marginalized communities to promote women and children’s rights include persons living with disability by coordinating with relevant stakeholders and community for service delivery. He's so efficient at his job that he considers himself a "good team player." Solomon has the ability to take unhealthy portfolios and transform them into healthy and thriving ones. Because of his skills, he can produce productive and long-lasting results for high-level clients. Solomon earned a degree in Business Information Technology (BIT) back in 2012. Through his course, he developed a passionate interest in working for vulnerable children include children living with disability. After he graduated, Solomon worked hard to attain his role as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for over 6 years. Currently, he is the Data manager for Research Data management Consultancy (RDMC) and also serve as the Chief Finance officer- Volunteer for Boys and Girls Club of Sierra Leone (BGCSL) while handling the financial needs of BGCSL. His long-term goal is to become a national-level policy adviser because he wants to use his untiring commitment and drive to bring more dignity in the life of young people.

With over seven years of experience in the medical sector and 15 years as a successful entrepreneur in the textile industry, Chernor has demonstrated versatility and dedication in various fields. As President of the Charity Fund Organization (CFO), he spearheads impactful initiatives such as the School Pikin Project, RCP Ramadan Charity Project, and healthcare outreach programs, earning him the Highest Achievement Award for exceptional leadership. A proud alumnus of Prince of Wales Senior Secondary School, Abdul Salaam graduated with a WASSCE Certificate in Science and has recently completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) degree with First Class honours from the College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, Freetown. Franklyn Amadu Kamara is a distinguished humanitarian, philanthropist, and advocate for the marginalized. His extensive volunteer experience includes serving as the Secretary General of the SALVAS Makeni branch and participating in various workcamps in Sierra Leone, the UK, Belgium, and Germany with SCI. In the realm of philanthropy, Mr. Kamara has made significant contributions by donating a 40ft container filled with hospital equipment and supplies in 2011/2012. Additionally, he has supported schools in Freetown by supplying desks, chairs, and school supplies. Mr. Kamara's commitment to fostering international relations is evident through his past role as the chairperson of the Finland-Sierra Leone Friendship Organization in Finland. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Helsinki School of Economics. With over two decades of entrepreneurial experience, primarily in the housing industry in Finland, Mr. Kamara serves as the CEO of Bombali Construction and Cleaning Ltd company based in Helsinki Finland. Executive Member Boys and Girls Club Sierra Leone (BGCSL) is a distinguished scholar, researcher, and advocate for environmental sustainability and social reform. His professional journey reflects a steadfast commitment to biodiversity conservation, sustainable development, and the empowerment of marginalized children and communities in Sierra Leone. With over three years of experience as a project coordinator for the National Protected Area Authority (NPAA), in partnership with Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary (TCS) and the European Corporation for Rural Development (EUCORD), Alfred has made significant contributions to environmental protection, children's protection, and community development. His work in the chiefdoms of Sella Limba, Lower Tambakha, and Upper Tambakha in the Karene District focused on promoting alternative livelihoods, biodiversity conservation, and children's and environmental protection. Through training, advocacy, and awareness campaigns, he has strengthened the capacity of communities bordering the Outamba Kilimi National Park (OKNP) and other protected areas to safeguard wildlife and preserve their environment. Born in Makeni and raised in Port Loko, Alfred’s educational background is as impressive as his professional achievements. He completed his secondary education at Murialdo Secondary School, Lunsar, and Port Loko Catholic Secondary School. He holds a Higher Teachers Certificate (HTC) in Social Studies from Port Loko Teachers College and earned a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone (Class of 2017). Alfred has volunteered extensively with governmental institutions and international organizations. During the Ebola response (2013–2016), he served as a contact tracer, surveillance officer, and food aid distributor, supporting quarantined homes and communities with the Ministry of Health and Sanitation. He also supported the Peace Corps Sierra Leone as a logistician in 2019, training Peace Corps volunteers. His teaching career includes roles at Bishop George Catholic Secondary School—Masiaka and Murray Town Army Secondary School (2008–2017), where he also served as school counselor and role model. Currently, Alfred serves as a project officer with the Cotton Tree Foundation (CTF), focusing on sustainable development and poverty alleviation across the districts of Kambia, Port Loko, and Karene. Simeon Blango: Empowering Youth Through Sports and Education Simeon Blango, a proud Sierra Leonean born on October 3, 1993, in Moyamba District, has dedicated his life to empowering young minds through education and sports. Currently residing at the School for the Deaf Compound on Wilkinson Road, Freetown, Simeon combines his passion for teaching and coaching to inspire the next generation. Educational Background Simeon completed his foundational education at WAM Collegiate School, where he earned his BECE certificate, and further pursued his WASSCE at Government Technical School, graduating in 2012. With a keen interest in engineering, Simeon enrolled at the Milton Margai College of Education and Technology (Congo Cross Campus), where he studied Electrical Installation under the Faculty of Engineering. His training reflects his determination to continually expand his knowledge and skills. A Passionate Football Coach Simeon's love for football led him to become a grassroots football coach in Sierra Leone, where he has excelled in nurturing young talents. He coaches various youth categories, including under-10, under-12, under-14, and under-15 boys, focusing on developing both their technical skills and their character. As the head coach of Sowa Football Club, Simeon trains his players at the Wilkinson Road Deaf School ground in Freetown's western urban area. His commitment to grassroots sports has positively impacted numerous young athletes, providing them with opportunities to grow and excel.
